Donate, De-Clutter, and Make a Difference
The North Halton Twisters Peewee AA team will be collecting items for
Wastewise, a registered charity located in Georgetown that proudly serves Halton Hills and surrounding areas.
Operating since 1991, this community-based initiative offers education programs and recycling opportunities and generates revenue through the sale of used goods in their retail store. Wastewise is a great example of sustainable community economic development and just plain smart approaches to managing waste.
We all have items in our homes that we no longer use, want, or need that can be made available to those that do through Wastewise’s retail store. One person’s trash is another person’s treasure! The Twisters will be collecting items on Twisters Day and taking them to the Wastewise facility on Monday.
