Neil Townsend Head Coach U15AA 2026-2027
With over 25 years of coaching in the GTHL, SCTA, OMHA, and OWHA, and holding Hockey Canada’s Development and High Performance Coaching certifications, Neil is inspired by the positive coaching role models from his past. He emphasizes a team-first approach with the goal of instilling a love of the game in his players.
Neil’s mission is to cultivate a dynamic and positive competitive culture by developing fundamental skills and systems essential for success. He is dedicated to fostering positive attitudes that shape players into reliable citizens, both on and off the ice. Neil joined the Twisters organization in 2020 and has coached at the U15A, U18A, U18AA and most recently U15AA. Before joining the Twisters, Neil coached AAA/AA boys hockey in Halton, Milton, and Toronto, bringing a wealth of experience and passion to his role.
