REP LEAGUE

The goal of our rep program is to provide a safe and positive playing environment for those athletes who wish to compete at a high level of girls hockey.

To that end, it is the intention of the NHGHA to continue to build towards becoming a AA centre.

We continually strive to develop our own players. We have continued a number of development programs this year including rep Twisters Performance Hockey School (TPHS), dedicated goalie schools, and shooting clinics. Also, for the first time this year, thanks in part to a Trillium grant, all our rep teams were able to benefit from summer Development camps. All of these development initiatives are part of our “Stay at Home & Play Campaign”.

Our hope is that we will build on the success of our 2013-2014 season where our Novice B & Midget BB teams won their league divisions; the Atom A team won bronze at the Lower Lakes Championships; and we celebrated two medals at the provincial championships (Bronze-Atom A, Silver-Novice B).  In the 2015/2016 season, our Novice B Team won gold at the Provincial Championships.

As we continue to build and enhance our program, it is also our goal to attract players who are not from North Halton, but who recognize the quality of our program and our new arena facilities.
