Jean-Francois Rousseau Head Coach U15A 2026-2027
Coach Jay joins the North Halton Girls Hockey Association as a non-parent coach with over a decade of coaching experience and a strong reputation for developing well-rounded, confident athletes. Since beginning his coaching career in 2014, he has led teams at multiple competitive levels and most recently served as Head Coach of the U15A Burlington Barracudas, where his players consistently advanced within the association and beyond.
A former multi-sport athlete, Coach Jay brings a flexible, modern coaching style that adapts to the unique needs of each player. Known for his positive approach and his ability to connect with athletes of all personalities, he focuses on helping players understand their strengths, build hockey IQ, and grow into the type of player—and teammate—they aspire to be.
He is excited to bring his development-focused philosophy and team-first mindset to North Halton this season.
