KAYA FIRTH AWARD

Kaya Firth was a former Twister player that passed away in February 2016 in a tragic accident at the age of 21. Kaya was a wonderful, positive influence in the dressing-room, on the bench, and on the ice. With her infectious smile and spirited demeanour, she brought fun and laughter to the whole team.

A divisional award was named in Kaya's honor and is awarded annually to a house league player in each division.

These players will demonstrate the following:
-strong work ethic both on and off the ice
-willingness to work with others, both teammates and opponents
-positive attitude
-commitment to fair play
