MAA Coaching Announcement
Submitted By Donna Harrington on Wednesday, December 20, 2017
The North Halton Twisters are pleased to announce that Tracey Cameron and Peter Trivino will return as Head Coach and Team Manager of the Midget AA team for the 2018-2019 season.

Over the past few seasons, Tracey has developed best in class programs in support of the midget AA players and ensured the long-term viability of the Midget AA program in North Halton.  Some of the programs include:
  • Summer practice regimen that has allowed the team to be successful in 2 early season, highly recruited, tournaments
  • Establishment of a rigorous dryland program throughout the season with a leading external partner
  • Attracting top level coaches to the program like Jessica Cameron (D3 All American goalie at Castleton University in Vermont)
  • Classroom style team sessions to discuss and develop on/off ice success strategies
  • Partnerships with highly respected university coaches and recruiters
  • Exhibition game against D3 University teams in upstate New York
  • Exhibition games against Team China

The implementation of these programs has already allowed 6 girls in the past few seasons to receive post-secondary Varsity commitments at Universities across North America and many of our younger players have already garnered attention from various coaches and scouts.

Tracey and Peter’s commitment to the players and external relationships will ensure that these opportunities continue next season and beyond.
