Submitted By Carolyn Tegelaar on Wednesday, January 3, 2018
Stephanie Barnhardt has been a head coach in boys hockey for the past several years. Her head coach experience spans AE to AA levels, from initiation to Peewee ages. She had also been an assistant coach for various Brampton Peewee AAA teams. She works at Varsity Hockey Training Centre in Brampton as a skating treadmill instructor, developing players of all ages, ranging in skill sets from HL all the way to players attending NHL prospect camps. Along with her time at Varsity, she has worked with female plays from the Twister Midget AA team, the Etobicoke Dolphins Bantam A, and others.  She volunteers with the Bauer First Shift program in Mississauga, passing on her passion for hockey to kids just starting to get into the game.

Stephanie grew up playing rep girls hockey and still continues to play at competitive levels. Her fondest years were spent with the North Halton Twisters, where she played various levels of rep during her Bantam and Midget years.

A message from Stephanie,“I am tremendously excited to return to the Twisters organization as the coach of the Atom AA team for the 2018-19 season. I look forward to bringing my experience, attention to detail, emphasis on player and team development, and passion for hockey back to the North Halton Twisters.”
