Bantam A Win Gold in Clearview and Lake Placid

During the month of October the Bantam A Team travelled to Clearview to take part in the get your Pink On in the Valley Tournament.  The Twisters outscored their opponents 18-0 over the course of five games. Goalies Nikki Deschenes and Kayla Costintini turned aside all shots they faced over the course of the tournament to pick up a combined 5 shut outs.  In the championship game Maddie Lawson scored the game winning goal and was named player of the game.

The Bantam A Twisters travelled to Lake Placid, New York where they faced teams from Philadelphia, Massachusetts, and Clarington. The Bantam A team went 5-0 over the course of the tournament outscoring their opponents 18-2. Goalies Kayla Costintini and Nikki Deschenes picked up a combined 4 shutouts while only allowing 2 goals against in five games. In the championship game the Bantam A team faced the Clarington Flames, during the game Ciaryn Clipperton and Kennedy Sundvall both scored to lead the team to a 2-0 victory.
