Pausing Games and Scrimmages
On October 13, 2020, Halton Region's Medical Officer of Health issued a non-binding recommendation that all team sports be limited to training only that can maintain physical distancing between players and that no scrimmages or games be permitted. As a result of this recommendation, Halton Region's four constituent municipalities (Milton, Halton Hills, Oakville, and Burlington) have all decided to prohibit scrimmages and games on municipally-owned ice. Practices, however, may continue with existing capacity limits.

Accordingly, the Twisters will be pausing all scrimmages and games booked on municipally-owned ice. Previously-scheduled home game times will be converted into additional practices.  All Twisters' activities must continue to be conducted in accordance with our return-to-play plan and protocols and OWHA requirements. If you have questions about the application of COVID-19 restrictions, please email us at [email protected].

We will be sharing further details about how this decision affects our programs in the upcoming days. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
