NHGHA House League Key Dates
Start date - Weekend of September 24th, 2022
U9 to U18 Players will be divided alphabetically for the first 2 weeks. Families will be contacted by email the week of September 12th with their ice times for the first week. If you have not received an email by September 19th, please reach out to
[email protected]NHGHA is proud to welcome Nicole Henn to run our first 3 on ice skills sessions.
Teams will be drafted and set for the weekend following Thanksgiving. Please wear any jersey (your child’s jersey from last year, their sibling’s old jersey, a Leaf Jersey, etc.) the first two weekends. Let me know if you need to borrow a jersey.
Fundamentals and Tyke players will receive a jersey and socks on their first skate.
Twisters Day – December 11th
Twisters Closing Day - March 4th and 5th
House League Game/Practice Schedule *Tentative only will be confirmed when number of teams are confirmed*
* Fundamentals – Saturday in Georgetown at 12:15pm
* Tyke Georgetown – Sunday in Georgetown at 1:30pm
* Tyke Milton –Wednesday at 6:00pm
* U9 (Novice) to U13 (Peewee) have ice on Saturday in Milton (8am to 4pm start time)
* U9 (Novice) to U13 (Peewee) have ice on Sunday in Georgetown (8:15am to 1:15pm start time)
* U15 (Bantam) have ice on Saturday in Milton (2:15pm or 3:15pm start time)
* U15 (Bantam) have ice on Sunday in Georgetown (4:15pm or 5:15pm start time)
* U18 (Midget) have games on Sunday Georgetown (6:15pm and 7:15pm start time), and Monday) (1 to 2 games per week), possibly in Brampton around Sunday 6:00pm and Orangeville/Caledon Monday 8:00pm. In addition to Twisters Closing Day on March 4th-5th, the U18 league will have a separate Day of Champs in late March or early April and all teams/players are expected to attend.
DS Tryouts - TBD
NHGHA is committed to having DS teams at U11, U13, U15 and U18 if there is enough interest. More information will be forthcoming.
NHGHA HL Tournament
House League Twisters Fall Classic Tournament - weekend of November 18th to 20th
Please note: Divisions from U9 to U18 will have the opportunity to enter their teams. Some teams may not have enough interest to submit their team. ALL TWISTERS are welcome to cheer on their friends!
HL Extra Development Sessions on Sunday Evenings
NHGHA will be offering the opportunity for our HL players to register for on-ice development sessions on Sunday evenings by an outside provider (TBD). These sessions are on top of your HL registrations for those who would like extra skills sessions. More information including timing, pricing and how to register for these sessions will be available soon.
