U18A Finalists at Sarnia Silver Stick
The U18A Twisters competed at the 2024 Sarnia Silver Stick Finals. After preliminary play the U18A Twisters finished in a respectable 2nd place. With this result, they advanced to a semi-final showdown versus the North Simcoe Capitals. This semi-final game proved to be very exciting with the Twisters winning 1-0 in double overtime!
Advancing to the finals the Twisters then faced a familiar foe in the Bluewater Hawks who they played in last year's Provincial Final gold medal game. In the final game of the tournament with time running down the Twisters pulled their goalie but gave up an empty net goal and ended up losing a hard-fought game 4-1. The U18A team did an outstanding job of representing the NHGHA at this tournament.
