Twisters U11A & U11B Teams Christmas Shoebox Drive
The
Twisters U11A & U11B Teams joined forces over the weekend for a good cause. Players worked together to donate items (pencils, notebooks, soap, etc..) and handmade personal cards for each box. Players came together to assemble Christmas shoe boxes to support children
who find themselves in difficult circumstances. This is a practical way for our young Twisters community to share the joy of Christmas with children facing
the challenges of poverty, war, famine, natural disaster, etc…. The boxes are donated across the globe through Dr. and Joan Simone’s Canadian Food for
Children (CFFC).
A Big Thank You to our Twisters U11A & U11B team Community for their generosity and time. A total of 30 boxes were created. THANK YOU!
The main goal of Canadian Food for Children is “to give every person on earth the opportunity to develop their soul, to allow them the health to go to school and work to live a life of dignity, to be protected from abuse, and to freely choose the faith they wish to follow.” Ultimately, Dr. and Joan Simone’s goal through Canadian Food for Children is “to help the poorest of the poor in the world.” – Dr. Andrew Simone
