Halton MOH Requires Vaccination For All Sports Participants 12 and Over
Submitted By Josh Hunter on Friday, October 22, 2021
Halton's Medical Officer of Health has directed that, as of Nov 26, 2021, all persons 12 years of age and older will be required to show proof of vaccination or a valid medical exemption before entering a sports facility. This requirement also applies to participants, coaches, instructors, caregivers, volunteers, and game officials. Please make sure you have your identification and proof of vaccination ready to facilitate entry. See the Region's press release or the MOH's letter of instruction for more details. Many neighbouring public health units have adopted similar requirements.
