U18BB1 Silver in Shootout - Clarington Applefest
U18BB1 went undefeated in round robin action at the Clarington Applefest tournament, scoring 18 goals and only allowing 2 against.
The semi final game against Burlington Barracuda's was a nail biter with the score being tied at zero going into the third period! With 2:49 remaining in the 3rd period, Emma Coleman scored a beauty assisted by Danielle Fabian to win the game.
Championship game vs. Otonabee Wolverines was intense and hard-fought. After 5 minute 4on4 over time the game went into a shoot out! Netminder, Kalleigh Cromwell (who had 2 shutouts in round robin) was incredible. Ultimately the Wolverines prevailed with ONE goal in the shoot out.
Twisters came home with Silver medal!
